Ice Skating in the Town Park

Available on the Town Park Pond when ice conditions are deemed safe. A green flag will be flown on the flag pole inside the pool area when skating is allowed. A red flag indicates unsafe skating conditions. The Town Park Pond offers lights, donated by the Lewisboro Lions Club, for night time skating and a warming hut. As with all other programs and activities sponsored by the Town, individuals who do not have their own accident coverage participate at their own risk

Parks and Recreation Program Cancellations

If programs must be cancelled due to inclement weather, notification will be made on radio station WHUD 100.7 FM and WZZN 106.3 FM. Generally, programs are not held when school is not in session. Please check with the instructor or coach of the particular program or call the Recreation Office.


Sleigh Riding in the Town Park

Sleigh riding will be available, weather permitting. The hill along the Town Park ballfield will be used for sleigh riding. Please park in the main parking lot by the basketball and volleyball courts as the small lot by the ballfield will be closed off for sleigh riding. As with all other programs and activites sponsored by the Town, individuals who do not have their own accident coverage participate at their own risk
